Purpose

Funding for a researcher at the Faculty of Science to develop her/his interdisciplinary research. This could be to attend a conference, meeting or course which is expected to have a strong impact on the researcher’s interdisciplinarity.

Background

The Faculty of Science has provided 100 000 SEK for 2025 to the Network for joint activities in Computational Science, which has decided to use some of this funding to strengthen its researcher’s ability to do interdisciplinary research.   

Conditions

The activity (conference, meeting, course or similar) must take place in the period Feb 2025-Feb 2026 and must have a clear expected impact to strengthen the researcher’s ability to do interdisciplinary research. The money must be spent before the end of 2025.

• An elaborated motivation why this activity will enhance the researcher’s interdisciplinarity 
• A well-defined activity  

Call volume

40.000 SEK, up to 20.000 SEK per application.

Send a description of the suggested activity, including a budget, as a pdf of at most two pages to Ullrika Sahlin, ullrika.sahlin@cec.lu.se.

Deadline

Continuously during 2025 until high quality applications have been granted within the budget.
