Funding of a visiting researcher to have a seminar or workshop
Who can apply?
Any employee of the Faculty of Science
Background
The Faculty of Science has provided 100 000 SEK during 2026 to the Network for joint activities in Computational Science. We have decided to use some of this funding to support research visits.
Conditions
The suggested visiting researcher must give a seminar or a short workshop on a topic relevant to a reasonably broad audience in Computational Science, and make sure it is announced to the network in Computational Science and in the Lund University calendar. The money must be spent before the end of 2026.
Other criteria
- A concrete plan with dates for the trip is of strong merit.
- If the research visit involves more than one research group at the faculty, this is a merit.
- If the research visit aims at writing a proposal for research money, this is a merit.
Budget
Up to 20.000 SEK per application.
