eSSENCE Multiscale Modelling Meeting 2020

Welcome to the eSSENCE Multiscale Modelling Meeting 2020 – which will be held as a webinar conference on Monday 8 June. Registration is open!  The program consists of three key-note talks followed by Q/A sessions, an e-poster session (no abstract needed) with oral micro presentations, invited talks, and a panel discussion. Posters need to be registered by 3 June. The overall theme is multiscale simulation of complex systems, with a focus on methods and models. The keynote speakers are:

*  Tejs Vegge (DTU Energy, Technical U of Denmark, Lyngby, DK)
   "Battery 2030+ and multiscale modelling."

*  Anatole von Lilienfeld (Inst of Physical Chemistry & more,  U of Basel, CH)
   "Searching through molecular compound space using alchemy and quantum machine learning."

 * Peter Coveney  (Director of the Centre for Computational Science (CCS), University College London, UK)
   "Big data: The end of the scientific method?"
